Digital Marketing for Weedon Direct!

Background and Objectives

Weedon Direct, a subsidiary of The Weedon Group, manufacture a wide range of cardboard packaging solutions to meet their customers’ every need. They’re fully FSC-Certified and focus on selling sustainable, environmentally-friendly products to contribute towards a greener future.

Last year, here at Eon Visual Media, we redesigned and updated Weedon Direct’s website to make it more sleek and visually appealing, improve speed and performance and enhance the user experience.

During the second half of this project, our team focused on improving SEO as well as creating and launching a range of Google Ads campaigns. The ultimate aim was to utilise marketing to maximise the impact of their new and updated website.

Weedon Direct SEO

The first part of this project included the majority of the SEO work, spanning from keyword research, on-page and off-page changes to improve ranking, visibility and site health. Read more about it in our Website & SEO Support for Weedon Direct case study here!

In the second part of this project, we focused on SEO maintenance. To ensure results are optimised, SEO changes must be maintained and updated. We always endeavour to ensure our clients’ SEO projects are carefully maintained. This involves reviewing the ranking performance of keywords, ensuring the website is optimised to capture traffic for specific search queries. Additionally, it includes fixing site crawl issues, resolving slow load speeds, and maintaining both internal and external links.

Weedon Direct also requested our assistance with Google Ads and PPC support. As a result, we needed to ensure that the keyword strategy for both ads and SEO was aligned to prevent us from optimising pages for conflicting keywords and purposes. This alignment led to some changes in the web copy for specific landing pages, aimed at enhancing both organic traffic and Google Ads performance.

Our marketing team went through a comprehensive training and research period to ensure they were fully prepared to create successful ad campaigns. First, it was essential for our team to understand Weedon Direct’s previous Google Ads performance to identify what worked well and what didn’t. We also analysed seven different campaigns, pinpointing and resolving technical issues. This included ensuring that conversion tracking was correctly set up so we could accurately measure conversions and returns.

Our team worked to drive value and ROI by testing and measuring the impact of different changes and utilising data-driven insights.

Digital Marketing

Weedon Direct also requested support with digital marketing to enhance their online presence, a project that is currently in progress. Our team is dedicated to improving their social media strategy. To facilitate this, our design team has developed a diverse range of assets and customisable templates. These resources will empower Weedon Direct’s marketing team to create and share compelling content more efficiently and effectively on social media and email.

Our goal is to help Weedon Direct not only increase their online visibility but also engage their audience with visually appealing content.
